Natural Upholstery Layers: All Jussi comfort layers include natural material like cotton, wool and latex to create a healthy, breathable sleeping surface. All the foam used by Jussi Beds is CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning it meets both European and United States standards for content emissions and durability and are analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratory standards. We have taken the extra step to have our foam tested by the European court to ensure that it does not contain any harmful elements. Jussi Beds uses 100% Natural Latex in some of its mattresses, which is also Oeko-Tex certified as Class I, the highest rating possible. This certification verifies our products are free from harmful substances and is even safe for babies. Latex is hypo-allergenic, naturally dust mite and mildew resistant. Natural latex doesn’t off-gas. You may notice the “new bed smell” of the latex when it first arrives, but you can rest assured that no harmful chemicals are being released. Latex from the Hevea tree can be 100% natural or blended with synthetic compounds. Jussi Beds use both to take advantage of what each has to offer. Latex is used to help eliminate pressure points and it leads to deeper, undisturbed sleep. Our European latex maintains its comfort and resilience for decades.

Jussi Foundations contain pocketed coils that act in unison with the mattress above. The wood base in each foundation comes from sustainable, managed forests with chain of custody proof.

All excess material scraps from the manufacturing process are compacted and recycled for reuse. This includes fabric, cotton, wool, paper products and wood products.

All Jussi Beds are produced in a focused, non-piecework environment where the staff works together as a team to offer a great night’s sleep, one hand made bed at a time. The average Jussi craftsman has apprenticed for at least three years before taking the lead with a new apprentice now learning from them.
